Cody Bartells Band – Alternative Country / Honky-Tonk Rock and Roll @ Hoops

Join us Saturday, April 11th from 6:00-9:00pm @HoopsYakima for the Alternative Country / Honky-Tonk Rock and Roll sounds of Cody Bartells.

Cody Bartels is an Alternative-Country Singer-Songwriter from Tacoma, WA. He grew up on, and is influenced by, old honky-tonk records by the likes of George Jones, Buck Owens, and Merle Haggard. Combine that with Cody’s love for 50s and 60s Rock bands like The Beatles, and you’ve got a sound that transcends both space and time and is sure to get your boots scootin’.

In the past year, Cody has opened for Bob Wayne, Samantha Marie, Dakota Poorman, and CJ Garton. Cody has played at some of Washington’s famous and popular venues such as The Blue Moon-Seattle, Purdy’s Public House-Sumner, High Dive-Seattle, The Chalet Theater-Enumclaw, The Spar Tavern-Tacoma, and Steel Creek-Tacoma.

Cody was nominated in four different categories at the 2023 Northwest CMA Awards Show, and performed at the Bing Crosby Theater in Spokane, WA before the ceremony, and took home First Runner Up Local Band of the Year!
