Scotty Wilson – Alt Country @ Hoops

Join us at @ Hoops for the Alt Country music of Scotty Wilson – Saturday, March 7th from 6:00-9:00pm. Scotty is a singer/songwriter from Pendleton, OR. Over his 20 years of writing and performing, he has shaped and molded his raspy, tenor sound into an Alt Country/Americana/Red Dirt style. His influences are bands such as No Justice, Casey Donahew Band, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Alabama (childhood favorite).

In 2002, Scotty got together with some friends from high school and started the Little McKay Creek Band. They traveled the Pacific Northwest for about 10 years and played as many honky tonks and concert venues as they could set their feet on and released two albums. In 2022, Scotty started recording and releasing his music as a soloist. As of today, he has released 10 singles onto all the major music platforms and started another band named Music Medicine.

Scotty’s shows are filled with energy, fun and laughter as he plays his favorite songs. He hopes to make you smile as he plays his heart felt original songs that are influenced by the love for his family, friends and music.
